About these terms

By using Hangi you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for everything done with your account.

Posting ads

• Only post items you are allowed to sell, with honest descriptions, prices and photos.
• Ads are reviewed before they go live and may be removed if they break these terms or the law.
• Prohibited items include anything illegal, stolen, dangerous or counterfeit.

Buying and selling

• The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller.
• Sellers must send ordered items promptly and describe them truthfully.
• Buyers can cancel an order until the seller confirms it.

Payments and payouts

• Card payments are processed by Stripe and held by Hangi until the order is delivered.
• After delivery and a short holding period, the seller's share is released to their connected Stripe account.
• Hangi may hold, refund or cancel a payment if there is a dispute, suspected fraud, or a breach of these terms.
• The service fee and delivery fee shown at checkout are kept by Hangi and the courier.

Highlight

• Highlight is a paid option that adds a coloured frame to an ad for 7 or 15 days.
• It is not refundable once it has started. If the item sells, or the ad is deleted or removed, the Highlight ends early.

Our responsibility

We provide the platform as it is. We are not the seller of items listed by users and are not responsible for their quality or legality, but we will help resolve disputes.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Hangi after a change means you accept the new terms.
